    I’ll take a peek into Snell’s products. Good to hear that you’ve had success with them.

    With the money saved, I’d like to invest in a new wireless camera system, as ours is on it’s last leg… If we can save $20,000+ from going Blackmagic over Ross or GV, that’s huge and opens the door to that possibility.

    The only thing I’m worried about is reliability. I’ve read some stuff online where the ethernet on the panel stops connecting to the switcher, the switcher completely dies, etc. I believe this was with their older models that only had heat sinks, and no fans. Correct me if I’m wrong, I believe the new 2M/E 4K Broadcast Atem’s have fans.

    I went to a Blackmagic showcase a week or so ago and I asked them about reliability. And they said just keep it cold. Which won’t be a problem, we make our production office an ice box during a show.
