I tried it out and I have found that the amount of control I have over what is being played out is much greater.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing it manually, in fact I do build them manually and it takes me all of 3 min to do. It’s not creating the setup that is the problem.

The problem is ensuring that the right clips go in the right order and that none are missed out. All very good and well when you are only doing one setup but when you do many of these a day there is a great chance that somewhere along the line there will be mistakes…Which can’t happen.

The broadcaster gets really peeved if there are mistakes… So really this whole thing is an exercise in eliminating the space for human error, but thanks for your input anyway.
