This kind of stuff used to be possible but with OS changes through the years its gone away. You could put an auto run file in the DVD-ROM potion of the disc but it all depends on the user set up.

What are you trying to do?

I don’t use Encore but I can tell you that BD accepts DVD compliant MPEG streams. You should be able to get a good 7-8 hrs of info on there

If I were you I’d just demux everything on the disc and make a new one

MPEG stream clip is a good tool for demuxing

Not an easy job without some previous know how but it can be done

Wait awhile for the guys at videohelp….give them time to come out of the woodwork

Just encode 1920x1080p in Media Encoder and bring into Encore

    I don’t rubbish people anymore….turned over a new leaf. 🙂

Seriously though….your best bet is to follow the 100s of video tutorials on YouTube

I’ve heard of people using the AVC streams straight from the camera but I would advise against that to make sure your streams are compliant

Youre asking a very broad question 🙂

Why are you going from 1080 to 720p for DVD?

What authoring app are you using? Have you gone through the tutorials for it?

September 19, 2013 at 9:57 pm in reply to: 4k BlueRay Publishing?

    BD doesn’t support 4K

I think Sony has some titles they have published….maybe call them for the details. Its going to cost you big money to do this…..just an FYI. 🙂

    Maybe this link will help?

In DVDSP defense, it’s light years beyond what Encore is capable of without all the bugs. 😉
