dvd video embed data files
Hi
does anyone know that how can I create a dvd-video disc format and embed with some data files (i.e exe files with autorun.inf) that in pc run programs on it and in DVD-Video players devices can play it.

This kind of stuff used to be possible but with OS changes through the years its gone away. You could put an auto run file in the DVD-ROM potion of the disc but it all depends on the user set up.
What are you trying to do?

I want to make a DVD that plays in dvd player devices an has some exe files to run in pc.

Hi Mohson,
It is certainly possible with Adobe Encore to add a data folder to a Video DVD with programs (or any data) in it. However, I don’t believe there is any auto-run capability, the user would need to manually access the files on the disc. Put some simple text on the disc face instructing user about where the files are perhaps?
