You’ll have to wait for Larry to chime in on that. I believe There are ways to reprogram the abstraction layer. Blu Streak was originally intended to produce a CMF image for replication…another thing Encore will not do. Ive been using Scenarist for years so I cant say for sure. There’s really nothing on the Mac. Have you look at DVDLogic’s suite of tools?

Have you tried to drag the TS folder onto the desktop? It doesnt do this?

Unfortunately Encore isn’t really a professional authoring tool. What you’ve seen was done by high end tools and seasoned programmers

The blacks are caused from the laser needed to refocus to another title

Throw everything Mac in the trash and buy a cheap PC which has more and better authoring and encoding options 🙂

This is the wrong forum….head to FCP

I think you might be able to pick up the encoder and Scenarist for about 20K

Seriously Bro…..At least state your bias before you bash the competition. Not a cool thing to do around here.

HOw many titles do you plan on doing a month? Its a tough call since it will be very soon that you will have no support.

    Maybe move over to Scenarist?

What’s your budget? I’d go with Cinevision if you can afford it. Netblenders site has list of compliant encoders….I’d start there. Be careful with DoStudio these days…..Sony bought them up

Not for encoding but for the extraction. Never had issued with Streamclip myself. It’s the most used ans supported tool for this kind of work….. on the Mac anyway
