Studio Pro needs to be set up properly weres iDVD detects your footages properties and automatically sets encoding parameters. This is great if you don’t know what you’re doing but a properly encoded piece out of Compressor first, the authored with DVDSP will look much better
But this is truly a job for BD re-author. It takes your bdmv file and converts the to a working Scenarist project. From there you would do the reauthorong you need. Used it often for the exact same purpose. Even took problem Encore projects and fixed them on Scenarist
Preview mode is not the real world. DVD was not meant to have button sounds. What your doing will often be ackward since it must go through a set of abstraction layer code plus the laser must mechanically refocus to another portion of the disc
No….DVD doesn’t work like Flash. No way to get around the delay since it’s a mechanical process for the laser to refocus to another portion of the disc
