Double posting is something that should be avoided. All the same people are pretty much at both spot anyway.
Your levels should be at what you or your client perfers. Our client wants it at -6 so thats what they get. There are no official specs.

It all depends on the length of your titles but under 7mb/s is always smart. Get rid of that Mp3 file for sure and transcode it to AC3

No…But what is your bitrate? Did you use AC3 Audio in your title? These are the two most common factors that effect compatibilty

These are just warning DVDSP gives when doing a build. Just cuirius – Whats in track 1 of your project. Im kinda confused why it saying its not going to inluse those VOB files in your final buuild?

Also to add what Noah said..
Its projected that 20,000 players will be sold this year while another 150,000 will be sold next year.
Doing the math that leaves less than 200,000 possible customers through 2008-9…so this whole HD DVD thing is years away from becoming a true market.
I’d also be willing to bet that HD-DVD & Blu-Ray will fizzle out and die. 🙂

**Try the forums here regarding HD-DVDBoth specs are different and both have included far more robust interactivity. Sonic is the only system that has a fully compliant HD-DVD platform, the Blu-Ray system & spec. is not complete.

Use a Firewire HD drive. This forum is for DVD authoring.

HD / BR is really a thing of the future at this point. No “real” players or burners exist. Under 20 titles are out on the market. Plus your looking at spending $150,000 or so. Its good to be prepared though.
It’s better to wait to see if this whole Hi Def DVD thing is going to work. DVDSP is a rival if burners and players were available 🙂

First you should know there’s no such thing as a DVD which will play in all players. You can do things to improve compatabilty:
1. Keep your overall avg bitrate below 7.0 Mb/s Remember Less is better in DVD. Use CBR if possible to avoid bitrate spikes which all encoders have.
2. Always use AC3 Audio – PCM/AIF takes alot of bandwidth which may throw you over the top which is 9.8 mb/s
3. Use good quality Media
4. Don’t use DVDSP layered menus!
5. Don’t use DVDSP slideshow functions – make any slideshows manual.
6. Burn at the slowest speed possible – some might argue this
7. Don’t use paper labels
