No way to do this from an encrypted DVD.

DVD@ccess isn’t the greatest feature in the world. If you do a search on this and the Apple discussion group you’ll see it has fostered less than satisfactory results. You need to manually install it on PCs.
Bottom line is it won’t work on all systems. Accessing files outside the TS folder is not part of the DVD spec.
For me personally, I won’t do jobs like this anymore because of clients who just don’t understand the pitfalls. They expect it to work on every player everytime…which will not happen.

mpeg 2 ts?? 1080p? Do you mean an HD DVD disc playable on a HD DVD player? Or a regular DVD? SD DVD doesn’t support 1080p but you can convert it to MPEG 2 and burn a disc. DVDSP will author a HD DVD but it won’t support 1080p MPEG streams and it needs to be burned to a red laser disc – no HD DVD burner are available.

Not sure what your trying to do. Why are you making and HD DVD? What does the client need and why?

How good are your scripting abilities? :):) In a nutshell you’ll have to assign each video a value to a GPRM. Once a video as been played you’ll need to extract those values to find out which videos have been played and what to do if they have.
Basically each button needs to go to a script which looks at which videos have played and either returns to the menu without doing anything or plays the video.
Writing out a script on this forum would be impossible but I hope this gives you an idea.

Sure…but would you need the video that has been watched to remain on the menu and not be able to click on it OR have it removed from the menu totally once its been watched?
