Actually nevermind. The Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 does take advantage to use both (if I’m right). I just added Geforce GTX 460 on the cuda supported cards list on the Adobe folder and changed my Nvidia Control Panel settings for Adobe Premiere on the “multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration from the program tab.

Now EVGA Precision shows that both GPU are running. Though the GPU usage is just 3 to 9%.

Compare to Sony Vegas, an hr video takes 3hrs to get done with GPU accelaration on Sony AVC. But with Adobe Premiere with MPE for MP4 H.264 it took an hr and half.

It’s a beast that’s why it looks scary lol. And it’s way too long, had to bent my Hard Drive slots to make it fit. Thanks anyway for your post.

Alright I’ll get an Nvidia. I think the GTX 580 will work for me.

I really appreciate your help, thanks a lot John!

But more CUDA Processors will speed up the work right?

What I heard from Nvidia people is that 1 CUDA = 8 Stream Processors.

I have 1440 Stream Processors so 1440/8 = 180 CUDA is that right? so that I can change my video card into Nvidia. Thanks again John.

Hey John thanks for the reply. I use Sony AVC as my main profile for editing. I tested the other profile and only Sony AVC is the fastest, it seems to use the GPU as you said.

But why the GPU’s clock and memory doesn’t do anything? they just stay at their low clock.

And will it make a difference if I switch my ATI Radeon for an Nvidia card?

Thanks for the reply, that helps. I think this is the fastest I can get then.
