My name is Eric Elder. My ultimate goal is to become a Producing Editor aka "Preditor". I find satisfaction and reward in seeing a project go from concept to finishing and delivery. To that end I have been gathering and crafting my skills in the major areas of production.

For the past year I have worked with Avid Media Composer at a creative content and marketing Production Company as an Assistant Editor.

On a daily basis I utilize things such as Avid ISIS server, AMA, digitizing, and transcoding HD and SD. As well as working with Microsoft Office Suite and ancillary programs like Mpeg Stream Clip, XD Transfer, etc.

I spent my time in college and the years following, enjoying all aspects of production. I worked four years as a Production Assistant. I have written, directed, and cut short films and documentaries. I have produced web videos and music videos, resulting in my work being featured on CNN.

I am passionate about film, television, marketing, and the production of all three. If you are looking for a career-minded person who is dedicated and motivated, someone you can count on to be punctual and stay late while faithfully executing the job at hand, I am that person. Long hours, late nights, and hard work are not foreign ideas to me. There is nothing I would rather be doing than working in media production and helping your project see its completion date.
