Thanks for the help.

You’re right, the clips are ‘ordered’ on the camera. However, something is happening when I transfer clips to my computer (click and drag.) The problem is that for example, I may have clips 001,002,003,004. Now, By their numbers, you think they are from the same date. But, 004 might be a clip that was taped three days later than 1,2,3— and makes editing a little frustrating.

This never used to happen. Any idea what could cause it?

When viewing on the camera, there is no problem. It is strictly after I transfer clips to my computer.

I was talking to a friend of a friend, and he said to render my files as a .mov file, under the h.264 codec. However, in Vegas, under ‘video’ I don’t have .264 listed, but .263. And, no where on the template for .mov files is HD 720. I’m so confused. It actually turns out that most video sites don’t accept .m2t files.

I use another application to actually make my DVDS. I only edit with Vegas. And yes, my dvd player is able to handle the .M2T files just fine. However, I need some help with an issue on youtube, but that isn’t the place for that.

I understand that quality is being lost. But, I’m not equiped to me burning blu-rays yet. However, I did a test today. I put a 4 minute .M2T file on a standard DVD. The video looked quite good and the ‘slow’ playback did not occur.

Just one more question. In the render settings, I see not even an option to switch to .WAV. All I have are bit rates, like 250, 320, and so on. I changed it to 320.
