what should i do to convert all my videos i have into a different format so vegas can read it?….any ideas.all my videos are mpeg….i use magix movie edit pro for xp but its not all that,and my problem is i cant drag videos to my timeline in vegas…help? thanx

well im not really sure what type of files sony vegas movie studio 8 allows ,im still new to this,but i have mpeg video format on all my videos….u think thats why it doesn’t allow me to drag them into my timeline? and u think thats why that pop up comes up saying unsupported format?…and if so what type of formats does movie studio support?

hi i just bought this software.Im having problems not being able to import video or audio to my timeline,as soon as i do a pop up comes up and says WARNING AN ERROR HAS OCCURED WHILE OPENING ONE OR MORE FILES.THE FILE IS AN UNSUPPORTED FORMAT.i don’t know what to do.same thing happens when i try to exctract music from a cd.i never had this problems with other editing software.can u help out?
