Everyone – thanks so much for all of the help!!! I really appreciate all of the suggestions. One thing I love about Adobe products is that there are always several different ways to accomplish what you are trying to do.
At this point it seemed easiest to just pre-comp and time remap as was suggested by rendernyc. Staring at all of those keyframes in the original was making my head swim. I appreciate the other suggestions though, Filip and wuzelwazel. I’ll file those away for other projects. Thanks again, everyone!
