It was very interesting to read your posts.
I’m using DeckLink extreme with analog i/o (Beta SP) and Vegas 6.
And Extreme does not work correctly.

I have audio sync problems (when capturing).
When printing to tape there is very loud output (you need to cut 10db in project cause there is not posible ajustments in audio preferences)and there is small interference.
I think that is Sony Vegas problems

In vegas 7 as I was told by Blackmagic support there is no possibility to capture analog input with Extreme at all (just only SD and HDV).
Sony fotgot it? 🙂

Now I’m interesting in AJA.
Have you tested AJA with Vegas?
Does AJA work correctly with Vegas 7 or 6?
Is there analog i/o?
That’s questions more for AJA guys

I know Boris Fx is plugin but it is big engine
I wonder if there is smaller plugins just for motion tracking

But it doesn’t work.
It’s interesting that I can print to tape but there is “no video input”

and I have tried DeckLink 5.6 version
but it didn’t work correctly
and the other guy replied that he had the same problem with capture
so I’m trying to solve my problem

I used to work with Vegas 6 and BM Decklink Extreme for analog i/o with Betacam SP recorder.
It was component (Y-R-B) input and output
So it works. Even batch capturing.
There were some problems with audio sync in captured files.
So I hope there must analog i/o in vegas 7?

I mean motion tracking: stabilazer, corner pin tracker, 1-4 points tracker
I know Boris FX has it. I have tried it.
Maybe you know plugins for vegas?
Or you can recomend any other software to try?

I had the same problem too
I use BetaSP BCB 75 recorder
Playback and print to tape nice, but I even don’t have video input
And even playback with ASIO is very loud and not clean sound (the same problem was with vegas 6)
