The problem is your cards are formatted in FAT32 which has a 4 Gig file size limit. Therefore a new file is created every time you hit the 4 Gig mark. There’s no way around that as it’s a limit of FAT32.
However, I combine the files after transferring them to the computer so there’s no gap in the video or audio using the DOS command:
copy /b seg1.mxf + seg2.mxf + seg3.mxf combined.mxf
Naturally change the names and extensions to match your files and then edit using the “combined” file.

Bernie, please also note that some of the issues you state are intermittent issues that only seem to happen on some machines. I haven’t see the issues you report on my machine so we are still reaching out to people to let our developers test things on their machine so these strange issues can be resolved. So please do get back in contact with support so the still active issues can be verified.

Based on your workflow comments, typically you do not need to “save” a title. You simply drag Titler Pro to the timeline, create the title as desired, and the close Titler Pro. The title is saved as part of the Vegas project.
Of course, you *can* save a title. Just go to File – Save and you will get a .nbtitle file with all that title information. To open that title, just go to File – Open and select that .nbtitle file. If you are going to be using a specific layout many times, then saving as a template would definitely be the way to go.

Pan/Crop is the wrong tool for the job. Instead, you need to use Track Motion to resize and position the logo.

Yes, it is included in the 8-12 version as well. It is under Tools – Extensions (not “View”). Please make sure you are looking in the proper place – under TOOLS.

The “AutoSave” tool is under Tools – Extensions. Open Auto Save there to set the various options and to “turn it on”. You can also use the “Save now with note” option to save a version now with a descriptive note added.
