Hi Tony,
You might want to check your graphics card if it supports shader and Open_GL.. specially Open_GL. some plugins or should i say MOST of AE plugins rely on Open_Gl.

Whoa! matthew you’re the man! i checked my driver version and it’s 8.9. i downloaded v9.7 on ATI support and tried BCC extruded text and now it’s working! thanks a lot bro! God Bless!

My Sincerest thanks for the advice you have given. however, it never dawned on me that the culprit might be the driver. only because i used the driver that came with the graphics card itself. i am confident that i installed the correct driver because i’m also using my computer for high definition games such as call of duty 4, far cry 2, H.A.W.X, world of warcraft etc. without a single problem. Anyways, i will still take your advice and check whether my card really is compatible with boris fx by emailing the address you have given. thank you and God bless!
