alright thanks for the reply. For some reason, even though I turned the volume up, the program was muted in my sound mixer window. I feel stupid. thank you haha.

Hey, I’m having a similar problem as well. I looked everywhere for an answer and cannot find one. Basically, I hear absolutely no audio from my clips. I import my clips from my canon vixia and when I do, the peaks are built fine and the audio meters jump, which tells me there is audio i just cant hear it. I’ve been able to work with these clips before and edit them fine. Just recently i’ve encountered this problem. I tried importing an mp3 to see if any other audio files worked and mp33 files also do not work. I really dont know why this randomly started happening, I can vaguely remember it happened in the middle of a project i was working on, I just all of a sudden couldnt hear any audio. If anybody could help, it would greatly be appreciated.

Hey, I’m having a similar problem as well. I have had Sony Vegas Pro 10 for a while now and never had the problem. basically, when I import clips from my Canon Vixia HF M300, the audio peaks are built fine, the audio meters are moving proving that there is audio, however I cannot hear anything. The mute button is not on either.
