we’ve never output 25 pro res video from our kona 3 cards but we have done this many times with 59.94 & 23.98. Never had a problem. Check your settings…. but recently we have encountered many oddities ever since upgrading to the 6.0 firmware & software. I am thinking it may not be a faulty card, but in fact a problem with the latest kona release. I’ve been trying to contact kona support for some issues of my own (another post in this forum) and have only gotten voice mail. Perhaps you’ll have more luck!

what software do you have…. is it version 6.0 with the firmware update?

Its not the actual applications that take up a lot of space, its all the extra content. The sound loops, dvd studio pro elements, motion elements, live types…. etc.
If you dont use these then it makes sense to not install them on your system. Installing just the apps is under 3GIGS.

Marathon is now out of biz… which also puts me in a tough spot now….
ive got the VESA adaptor for some cinema displays (20inch). Looking on xsanity i see that UNIT has rackmounted theres…. anybody have any ideas what rackmount would work for these? Havent had much luck looking around. Middle Atlantic seems to max out at 17inch. And with marathon out of biz theres no way they are on top of this.

Did this always work with FCP 6 or was it fixed w fcp 6.02? Just asking cuz i know there were lots of problems at first with fcp 6 w HDV 24 & firewire.
