    Hello again,

I was able to find the right combo of versions that allowed me to migrate everything successfully. The trick in my case was finding the correct MySQL version (8.0.36-arm64) that would allow me to import my MySQL backup file. From there I was able to incrementally update version by version to get current.

Good luck out there. Who am I kidding. No one is reading this…

This is very helpfully. I need to switch to SDI for the captures with all the embeded goodness of SDI. I take it all of the IO on the DigiBeta is always live or do I need to setup the deck for SDI output?

    Thanks you

Since legacy formats are crashing my CC and computer in some cases I’ve never seen the information below from CC.

“Adobe continuously aims to keep up with the most modern workflows and support formats and codecs broadly used across the professional film and video industry. As a result, future versions of Premiere Pro will no longer support legacy QuickTime 7 era formats and codecs. Professional codecs typically found in QuickTime movie files, such as ProRes, DNxHD, and Animation, are not impacted by this change. These codecs are supported natively in Premiere Pro.

To alert Premiere Pro users regarding this pending change, the most recent versions (12.0, 12.01) of Premiere Pro show a warning notification when you attempt to use a legacy QuickTime format or codec that will no longer be supported, starting with the next release.”

    RIP Legacy formats.

I understand what you are saying. I’m just not sure how to apply it as an automated workflow. If you don’t mind baby stepping me through this that would be great. Also, I’ve just made the move from Worker 5 to 6 and I’m suffering some growing pains with the layout.

The export part I’ve done before. How does one add a suffix to exported titles? Previously I think there was a panel for this, but now it’s been moved or is gone.

I’ve never used the hide option and don’t think it’s something I would do. Once I have the reduced HD copy I want to delete the UHD.

This sounds interesting. How does one maintain 2 different proxy workflows. This will have to be an alternate proxy as I don’t want to destroy my current proxy workflow. To many years of LTO archiving that can’t be messed with.

    Hello Robb,

I’m encoding to a format that is smaller than the original and bigger than the proxy. Source is UHD being reduced to HD to save a little bit of space and still have a file that is worth editing if needed later.

While keeping just the proxy is a good idea, it’s not one that will work for my need.

    Thanks

Had to go deep and manually trash all of the cache files. The Clean cache option in prefs works counter to what one would think.
    Looks like this has worked.

    Thanks to all.

Opened old 2015 project and I see a similar issue just not as bad.
