    Hi Johnny,

I’m not finding this Anamorphic tab in the sequence settings within Premiere Pro 2.0? Could you please point me to where this is?

    Thanks Johnny.

Thank you Peter. Are these free trial periods full access or do they include watermarks etc?

    Thanks again for your help.

Thanks Daniel. I agree, trying not to upscale…the only reason we are is to fit our content within the iPlayer without the black bars.

I thought I had the deinterlace feature checked, but now that you point that out, I’ll have to try again.

I like to do things the hard way. 🙂 Like trying to make SD footage look HD within streaming video! HA!

    The iPlayer not’s mine…I’m just a client.

    Thanks again Daniel.

November 22, 2008 at 11:16 pm in reply to: flix exporter vs flix pro

I’ve been using FLIX standard for the past several months and enjoy it. It’s a great product. We are getting ready to upgrade to the PRO version for the second pass option along with cropping features.

I just googled Episode, (never hearing of it before) and the version I found is $495 vs. the $250 for the Flix Pro. Is the quality that much better to be twice as much?

    Thanks,

I just got off the phone with JVC tech support, and unfortunately the DV-5000 doesn’t offer squeeze mode on this camera.

    Thanks again,

    Thanks Johnny,

I’m looking for “squeeze mode” within my camera but unfortunately I’m not finding it within the manual. Could you please advise as to where I can find it?

Also, just to make sure I’m on the same page with you…. if I am using a PPro 2.0 widescreen project (D1/DV NTSC Widescreen), your saying to export my movies out using the anamorphic setting in the “pixel aspect ratio” on the export itself?

Would I still see the black area on the top and bottom while editing even though I’ll shoot in squeeze mode?

Thank you for your time again, and I apologize in advance for my additional questions. You seem to be the only one I’ve found that knows how to handle this issue, and we’ve been working with it now for a few months!

    Thanks Johnny,
    -Dustin
