Were they ever there? Didn’t Adobe replace the 8 point garbage mask tool with the effects tools after CS6?

Aggravating, isn’t it? Especially when you get Nervous Mouse Syndrome and it slides the audio track a tick or two off sync. Following this thread.

I had to re-install CC 2015.4, basically because cc 2017 SUCKED!!! and it worked fine for about 2 weeks, but now I’m also getting that invalid font error, only it lists every font on my PC, not just one or two. But they all show up in the Title window.

You can put the entire sentence in one title and mask it out, then reveal one word at a time. Since you didn’t make THAT video, in your mind the words are appearing as the guy is saying them. They could easily be a little off and you wouldn’t notice it. Try it like that. This way you don’t have to make a title for each word.

Did you uninstall cc 2015? If you still have it did you try to open that clip in it successfully? cc 2017 is so friggin’ weird I had to go back to cc 2015.4. All sorts of problems with my opacity pen tool. Yesterday I tried installing again, and now the opacity tool draws a mask but nothing happens, it doesn’t mask out anything.
If you googled the problem and nothing came back you’ll have a long wait. It means no one else has had that problem. You might want to try re-installing it, if anything.

His question is why is rendering slower than encoding, not how to speed up encoding.

Is it that you know how to do it but your PC isn’t cooperating, or you’ve never been able to figure it out? If it’s the latter have you tried searching on youtube? If it’s the former then it’s yet another case of a Premiere Pro bug that doesn’t affect everyone.
