Yah, I’ve hated that cutaway from day one. It came out of those low budget late night infomercials and never went away. I figured they do it to break up the monotony or something, but the two shots are too close so it just looks like an amateurs act of ‘camera angle desperation’. Go wide or something. Show everybody in the room watching em. Dont just jump from a first person into the camera shot to a 3/4 profile from the same distance while the subject is still talking to the first camera. Its just lame.
