on a positive note Catdv 12 will come with a GUI to change / customize the edit workspace panel so making changes will be much easier
currently while can do quite a lot of customizeation of the interface we are not able to change the basic positions so we cant just “swap” the Catalog View And details panels as you desire
I’m interested to understand why you’d like to do this ? please can you drop me a mail to support@squarebox.com with a link to this forum post and your reasons for wanting to change the views around
I can then put this forward as a feature request for possible inclusion in future releases

We have now released catdv server 7.1 which resolves this issue you can download it here

Please be aware you need to be on a current support and maintenance contract to be eligible for the new version and please follow the upgrade instructions carefuly

we’ve identified the issue Adob have changed some of the information we need to “send ” with the send to première command we’ve updated our code to accommodate this and there will be a new 2015.3 option In the send to première config options in the next software release 11.1.7 due out soon

please can you restart CatDV client use find similar to identify some common files then try to delete them
please screenshot any error messages and export the log files

to edit / change most view / config options for a production groups you would need to be either an admin user or have “system Administration” rights.

there is an edit option in the workspace menu you can create / copy / customise workspaces here in catdv 12 we are introducing a better GUI to manage workspace configuration

we’ve identified an issue with column widths not saving correctly with beta versions of catdv server 7.1 this will be resolved in the next release
