  • Thanks guys,

The camera is a Schneider dv camera with both disc and card recording formats.

I recorded onto the SD card and brought the fottage in through my computers jdrive.

I saved them to a folder on my desktop and then selected them all and converted them in prism converter to AVI.

    width – 720
    height – 540
    4:3

    Frame rate 30
    Pal

I have messed around with different settings all day yesterday and it has improved but there are still visable moving lines that define objects and surround moving objects which is really annoying?
The pixellation has improved slightly but still there?

Is there a different way i should be doing this?

Many thanks for your help… i have started a new project as i cant seem to rectify the clips in the original project which is a major pain!

    Thanks,

    Donna.

  • Hi Stephen,

Thanks for any help with this….

I shot the footage on a Samsung DV Cam.

It was ste to TV Fine.

Clips seem ok on playback on camera but when converted to avi ready to import into my project pixels are present?

Its only very noticable when i burn it off to dvd and play back on a larger screen.

I have tried all day to convert the footage in 4:3 and high/low res -and it makes no difference.
I have spent days doing this project and wondered if i now have to start from scratch?

    Would appreciate any suggestions.

    Many thanks.
