the script works absolutely perfect (just add another { at the end)!
Thank you so much. This made a long journey finally come to an end where I’ve got a work flow which is pretty much perfect to me.

I use LTCconvert (FCP Aux TC Reader) by https://www.videotoolshed.com to scan for an audio timecode track etc.

Hi Mike,

thanks for your swift reply! I don’t know what I am doing wrong because in the Quicktime 7 Player the Timecode is displayed under the entry “Standard” and above “Frame number” as “Timecode: non drop-frame” with the correct time after I wedge the file through LTCconvert by Videotoolshed.

After importing it into Vegas 12 build 563 (64 bit), all the files appear with timecode 00:00:00.

Somehow I managed to export an audio track with video into a MOV file out of Logic Pro 9, again converted the audio-timecode track in LTCconvert and had the right timecode displayed in Vegas. No idea why?

It’ll be really great to unravel the remaining misteries!
