Thanks guys! Actually, I ended up using a Sigma 18-35. While its not quite as wide as the others, I’d rather spend the money on other equipment since I can use the Sigma for free. Thank you for your advice!

New question. I have the option to get a 4k display version with the same specs as the 1080p version (except the screen) for the same price. What should I do?

If I had to color grade a video for a client on the go, would I be able to get by with the color accuracy of the 1080p screen?

One more question: I dont think the 1080 by 1920 screen has as high of a adobeRGB rating as the 4k screen. Should I be worried about this?

I’m not very good when it comes to customizing laptops so where would I have the ram/thermal pasting done?

If I got the model with 32 GB ram i would have to downgrade to the 7th gen core i7 which is quad core.
