yes dan this works but i need to add another independent keyframe after the expression..in other words i am getting the value of that keyframe from that time but i need that info to be the inittial keyframe?

hi dan,

what im trying to do is create an afx project that will zoom into preedited world maps, the tricky part is that im trying to put the project into automation. so that someone not knowing afx effects can render the project..iam using null olbjects for the user to drag the targets in only one frame of the comp…but other keyframes have to get the data from that specific keyframe..

i will need an expression to get a specific keyframes’ value from a specific layer? do you think its possible?
