I have run into a similar problem. Have you tried both standard DVD media types “DVD+R” AND “DVD-R”.
Ive found that the DVD-R is more stable in consumer DVD machines than +R. On the other hand, there are a handful of laptop DVD players where I work that only play DVD+R. Seems that the very inexpensive players are less likely to handle both types of DVD-that doesnt explain the issues on computers though. Good luck! -
This transition effect will work as a ‘thump’ too. I needed a shot to look like a flying pizza box hit the camera with a ‘thump’. I discovered that if I simply bladed the shot where I wanted the thump, and used the “G Free” transition-G Earthquake at the cut, it was perfect. Give it a shot if you havent already solved it.
