thanks for your comments.This was the first time I recorded I play as long as 3h.Do you have any advise on editing those big files in sony vegas if a client wants it on dvd?I mean do you convert those AVCHD files to something else before uploading it into your project file in sony vegas then edit it.The problem I had was I used two cameras.One HD and one SD.I thought I had to meet in the middle in order to get both qualities looking almost the same after rendering.Anyhow its just nice to be able to discuss these things for once with someone else and not pull your hair out on your own.Thanks again.

I agree but I rendered the project before and it took 4:30 hours now its 14.I wondered if there is a guide to follow when converting avchd 1080p files to a dvd using tghe dvd architect widescreen pal template.Also important to mention is that I shot the clips in NTSC and my project in sony vegas is pal widescreen so when i render it renders the same as the project presets.When burning the dvd it should look good but it renders very slow now.its a 3 hour long play broken up into two so another 14 hours awaits me when this is finished!eish…
