I would love to see some of your work on Video Hive.
Just so you are aware, I have not had that many complaints in regard to the drop zones. I guess when we want something done we will do the extra work involved to get it done. It is not the perfect solution, but I am sure Apple will have this fixed in soon. It may not be as easy as we think plus, they have a very small development team and a lot on their to do list.

Hello Bret, This was a bug that was introduced into Final Cut Pro X. I worked at one time perfectly and wherever you click is synced. I have sent Apple a bug report on this and I hope it gets resolved. In the meantime you could try this work around: https://support.motion-master-templates.com/article/13-syncing-video-inside-a-drop-zone

Hello Jim just add this file to Users/Library/Application Support/Final Cut Studio/Motion
Then open up Final Cut and go to sequence and click on Add Master Template. In the browser look for the Splits template and add it to your timeline. Double click on the clip and then drag and drop the video into the drop zone well in your viewer and your done 🙂
