Hi Jeremy,

Back to my original thread and thank you for your help. I was able to change the field dominance to upper before pulling the clip into the timeline. However, in order to make sure I am editing in the proper codec, I can only see options to edit in DVC Pro HD 1080i50, 1080i60, 1080p25, and 1080p30. Please let me know which codec you think will work best. Thank you!

Hi there! I’m jumping on this strand as i’m also confused which FCP codec to use after shooting HVX 200 in1080i/24p. The default codec, as mentioned above, is DVCPro HD 1080p30. I noticed on this strand that editing in 30fps is ok. I just want to confirm with someone that has a little experience with this before I go ahead with this default codec or select another.
