i have been able to do this in AE but no invig….. in AE you just turm the ambient light down below 5 and make the table at least 5000×5000 make sure you dont have the intensity of your spots to high or place them to high above table or they will illuminate far off into the distance.

I got it to work….seemed to be something to do with the material of the table I was creating. I still cant seem to make a table where the light falls off at some point though?? I can see the table for infinity. is there a way to make like a spotlight so you dont see the table forever.

i too am having the same difficulty. I am not able to cast shadows on other ojects in the 3dspace…just the same ojbect itself….
