I’m also having this issue with audio not syncing correctly. I’ve read through this thread and watched many YouTube tutorials which claim to solve the issue — to no avail.
- I’ve used Handbrake to force the video into a constant frame rate (29.97 fps; MP4), but that doesn’t seem to solve the issue.
I’ve tried speeding up the video to match the length of the audio track, but that doesn’t help much at all.
I’ve tried copying the MTS file and changing the file extension (container) to .MOV. (Some people claim this works.) Doesn’t work.
I’ve tried creating a Premiere Sequence based on MTS settings, Handbrake MP4 settings, and the WAV audio’s settings. Nothing seems to work.Here are my basic settings (detailed metadata further below):
VIDEO – AVCHD (MTS) 29.97 fps; AC-3 Big, 48kHz
AUDIO – WAV (PCM, Little), 48kHz
Any thoughts? Am I missing something?
