OK, so i’ve found all the solutions on this site and it seemed like they worked for most people. trashing the prefs and constant frame floders. but no go for me.
i’m running fcp 5.04 on a 1.5 GHz powerPC G4 powerbook with 1.5 GB RAM.any other ideas? would be very impressed if someone came up with a areal solution. i’ve seen this on every forum so far and not one real solution!

hi Ben , i know you said it was all over the forum, but i’ve searched everywhere and cannot find it. could you explain why this happens with the green background? and what a viable solution might be?
