    Rosetta, okay I looked it up. It basically ports applications on the fly from PowerPC to Intel from what I understand.

    Wow, see you already helped me learn something. I am on my way to becoming fluent in Mac Talk.

    Thank you. Someone had mentioned “universal” to me and said they thought the older version did not run under it. I had forgotten the term they used.

    I don’t even know what Rosetta means, but I will google it right now.

    Do you have a recommendation as to what version I should try to get? Like which version has fewer bugs or what version is oldest I should consider etc?

    Also, if I wanted to say make a documentary or short film, what basic software applications do I need?

    I am at square one. So far all I have purchased is the basic system and I have ordered 4GB of RAM to upgrade the RAM from 2 to 4.

    If you can give me tips or point me to a good article or thread I will be grateful.
