Dear Theo,
Well, it’s amazing but after 5 years you helped someone, now you helped me. I got the same problem that the guy in 2010.
The file I was working was unable to be opened. I searched the autosave files that vegas produce any time the program suddenly close or just stucks, but I didn’t find anything there because with this project nothing wrong had happened.
Fortunately, before killing myself I found this forum with the solution. I didn’t know what was the file “.veg.bak” for. Thanks to you I know now.
I just changed the extension “bak” to “veg”, and it worked !!!!
Soooo….
