Sorry, I wasn’t clear about my connections. I am using a firewire cable from my camera to my laptop, but the footage is being captured to my eternal HD which is connected to my computer through USB 2.0.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll try doing that. The only problem is that I have another tape that was recorded at the same time using the PD170 and it plays back fine and captured with no problems. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the help. It still didn’t work by exporting it as a quicktime movie, however it does work in compressor. But does anyone know how to change the size? it is defaulted at 720 x 480, but it won’t let me change that. Thanks again!
