    Hi Grazie:

What do you think of Sound Forge Pro 11? It has Izotope included and I believe the trial is 30 days. Izotope’s trial is only 10 days. Starting off with a huge learning curve, the 30 day trial seems more attractive.

    Many thanks,

    Debbie

    Hi Grazie:

You and Mike might appreciate this. I have been rendering my 24P as 29P and 16:9 as 4:3. When I switched and rendered to 24P and 16:9 widescreen, the bitrate changed significantly. Now it’s 312MB LOL. What a difference. I did see something unusual when the person moved in the frame. It appeared as if there was a double image following the movement. Has this ever happened?

    Many thanks,

    Debbie

    Thanks Grazie:

I have a lot of actors on this project, so I better get busy separating the files. You’re right I can’t mix well without the tracks being separated.

    Many thanks,

    Debbie

    Hi John:

Thank you. Great advice. I have 28 actors. Would you modify your process in a case like this, or would you still have the tracks for each actor?

    Many thanks,

    Debbie

    Hi Grazie:

Great advice. I will definitely make those adjustments, because when I opened the mix console and saw that I had no leverage, I wondered about separating the tracks.

    Thank you so much.

    Best,

    Debbie

    Hi Lance:

Thank you. Great advice. I always wondered about the multiple dialogue tracks. In theory of course, because my dialogues are all on one track. I still have some time to make those changes.

    Thank you very much.

    Best,

    Debbie

    Hi Grazie:

Thank you. I noticed that the advanced is pretty pricey. I’m sure it’s worth it. My budget is a bit tight. Is the regular RX3 any good? Anything less is even better.

    Many thanks,

    Debbie

    Hi Dave:

You are so right. I recut it so that I did not need to add that element. It was impossible to track a moving object when what they were wearing was moving also.

    Thank you so much

    Hi Mike:

Thank you so much. This is tremendously helpful. The screenshots are invaluable. Thank you.

I am going to download the bitrate calculator (thanks Grazie) today and start testing.

    Best,

    Debbie
