So I guess my question should be about creating a database like this. Are there tutorials/guides that are good for the creation of this? A quick google search came up with a lot of responses that are kind of hard to sift through.

Yes, once I had posted this and read your first lines I realized that it was an extremely broad question.

Basically, I’ve set up small, basic stores using paypal. It’s not the monetary transaction part that I’m worried about. It’s the display of products/searching aspect. Probably similar (and I haven’t looked into this as I’ve just thought of it) to the display of a lot of thumbnail pictures with brief descriptions. This combined with the ability to search by product type, function, etc. Much like this.

I think I figured out that problem. I originally had it set to HD DVDs which is why there were errors the whole time, ie non HD DVD players trying to play HD DVDs.

So while that’s fixed, I am getting a bitrate too high when I try to burn using DVDSP. When I compressed through compressor I had it set at 7.2. Does this mean that there’s a spike somewhere along the line? Will exporting as CBR solve this?

I’m using Maxell DVD-R.

It doesn’t work in any DVD players, computers, etc. The only drive it works in is the G5s in the editing labs…

So just to test this I used one of my older versions that I had exported through FCP to the m2v format.

I changed all of the settings to what you have above and burned the DVD. However, when I try to play it back in a DVD player, it says error and will not play.

What might the problem be there?

I appreciate your help on this. I realize that I’m getting off track of the FCP topic, but I’m contiunally stuck on this.
