Hi Bob,

I came across your post and wondering if you might be able to help me out. I recently purchased the QNAP TS-1685 to upgrade my employers system. We were previously using a GTech Shuttle XL w/ Thunderbolt 3. I’ve also got the Dual-port SFP28 25GBE Network Expansion Card. We’re editing a project in Davinci Resolve 16 with mostly 8k R3D files. Previously, I was able to get smooth playback from the GTech Shuttle XL with the debayer setting to Half Res Good. However, I’m getting choppier playback from the new QNAP NAS which wasn’t what I had anticipated. Wondering if you have any suggestions for tweaking the configuration of the NAS to improve the performance? Let me know if there’s any more info I can provide to paint a clearer picture.
