Click on the Apple icon then do the following:

Click on the Apple icon (located on the left side of the menu bar) then select the About This Mac

From there click on the More Info button
Then click on the System Report button
    Then save the file

Note: It may took a few seconds for the file to be saved.

They could add tracks, but it would be subscription only just like . . . 🙂

Dodging food and other objects being thrown in my direction.

Tracks do come in handy on occasion but sometimes they get in the way. I think some type of hybrid timeline would be nice but not likely going to happen anytime soon.

One area that can be improved is in color correction. At present there are no individual RGB sliders or curves. No ability to key frame color correction either. I have used the blade tool to cut up a clip as an alternative but not exactly efficient.

That being said, in its present form it is a solid editing application. My two cents, whatever it is worth.

Mainly the transitions and lens flare. Remember that Universe is very new so there will be additional offerings over time. I have used Red Link in the past for other Red Giant products and it has made updating very easy not to mention other products that might be of interest. In my very honest opinion, without question Red Giant really knows how to innovate and keep their customer base very happy in the process.

Some native plug-ins (ones that come standard with the application)usually do a very nice job. Sometimes it is a tie and sometimes there is a clear winner. I think that Red Giant does offer very good quality products. I have purchased Trapcode Particular and have been very satisfied with that purchase. So far the same goes for Universe and the amount of free stuff really made the decision to subscribe that much easier.

Will the competition take notice and offer something similar? My two cents, whatever it is worth.

I agree completely! Kudos to the team at Red Giant for thinking this through and for their excellent customer support. Now only that, signing up for Universe took only a few, simple, and quick steps to go through. Would love to see Resolve support as well.

Also, been purchasing some of the new products from Rampant Design Tools, another great product and company.

Thank you. I would also like to see higher frame options available, if at all possible. Camera just arrived the other day and so far it is smooth sailing.

I am super excited as well now that I have a Blackmagic Cinema Camera, still getting it ready to go out for some test footage.

Going to do most work in RAW format, granted this means a few extra steps but don’t mind doing it. We have a nice lake and dam nearby, probably the first few things for some test footage. Hoping that Red Giant Universe will be supported in the new version of Resolve as I want to get everything finished there. Also hoping that whatever I can cook up in Motion as a transition will be supported as well though that is not likely.

Perhaps they might surprise us with FCP 11 right after Resolve 11 is released. The new version would include tracks, color wheel and my favorite, “Send To Motion” option as well. 🙂

Sorry, just could not resist saying that.

Been waiting for an update as well. Every single week, on Thursday off to the App store to check for an update. Still not there. This week perhaps?

One thing is for sure, “Send To Motion” would be very great!
