The errors happen with both Digi-beta and Beta SP.

The deck has quite the minimal wiring these days… one single SDI cable running output to a computer.

Thanks for the tip, but when I try to fast forward I get an Error 02! This is with multiple tapes.

I managed to find a service manual online for the BVW-75P and although it’s a different model (and PAL) it was similar enough for me to figure out that it was dip switch settings on the TBC-9 card. The card was set to blank certain lines, so I flipped the dips and the deck is outputting closed caption now.

There does not seem to be any menu item I can find. Another editor here told me it might be a dip switch on one of the boards.
