I think there is just some magical and inimitable about the look of film — it is just unique. However, given the arc of the future, we decided to go with Hi-Def.

I share your opinion, somewhat. When I look at Blu-Ray, it looks like video: it is TOO clean.

On our next film we are stepping up to more ambitious color grading suite that should really put the film into our hi-def video.
