click on the back button and then go to the properties of it on the right hand side, set this button to #1, then click on an empty area of the menu and check to see if the default button is set to #1

this can all be done using multiple menus and the auto activating feature that is in Encore..

this kind of scrolling that you require could be made in photoshop and Encore using Multiple menus..

make sure the HIGHLIGHT layer is selected and then nudge it back into position using the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT arrow keys on your keyboard.
Also try using a fatter font and see if that reduces the shimmering.

And never use the mouse to test links/highlights/etc.etc as this will give a false representaion.

can’t be done, this is down to the DVD Spec and not a fault of Encore

open up the menu in Photoshop and then check to make sure that button C and D are both in seperate layer sets, and that they have the correct naming parenthesis.

yep, you got it…. it would be helpful for you to get the old fashioned pencil+paper out, as this will make it easier for you to link everything up (as you will have a visual record)..

yep it can be done using multiple menus and the button auto activating feature of Encore… you would need a menu (with alternative background image) for each button, if you have a lot of text buttons then this can become confusing for you trying to remember what goes to which,etc,etc,etc
