Thanks Michael! Do you have any personal experience with their product?

I checked their website and it appears they have “200+ Replicated Titles Worldwide”, but after the Encore mishap I want to avoid anymore costly road blocks. I noticed in their comparison (https://www.netblender.com/main/products/dostudio-bd-authoring-edition-dsa/comparison/) that the DoStudio does *not* offer “Sony CMF Formatting” How critical is this to the replication process?

Which of these applications support creating a BluRay master that can be used for replication?

Thanks Todd! That definitely got me pointed in the right direction.

I ended up using the “CC Particle World” effect using the “Fire” animation preset and was able to achieve the effect I was looking for.

My roadblock came in the form of a Vobulator\TitlePlanner\CGOPGrouper.cpp, line 297 error.. After about 5 hours of banging my head I found a solution thanks to Jeff Bellune in response to a another error with CVOBUPlanner.ccp. The issue is with more than 19 chapter points the same timeline. If this was truly a limitation why wouldn’t Adobe check for it during the “check project” phase.

Also in my quest to resolve the “line 297” error I un-checked my “motion menus” which resulted in yet another crypted error message..

IMHO these issue can be easily fixed with a patch..

I experienced this same error (Internal Software Error: .\Vobulator\TitlePlanner\CGOPGrouper.cpp, line 297) and thanks to your link I was able to resolve my issue at least.

Considering there is not a lot of info about this error out there, I thought I would share my resolution and hopefully save other 5 hours of endless searching.. :-/

On the other thread:
Jeff Bellune states “The next culprit to check would be Chapter Playlists. Do you have any, and if so, how many? More than 19 from a single timeline can generate this error.”

In my case I had exactly 19 chapter markers on my Timeline and by removing the last one I was finally able to build the DVD. Apparently Encore adds a “hidden chapter point” at the end of the timeline.. Which in my case would make it more than 19… Though not visible, it did cause an issue and my build was failing.

It would nice if Adobe provided patches for these non issues. They are obviously BUGS and need to be addressed!!
