Actually – I tried this again but did an extremely thorough erase of the programme, along with all other Magix video software I had on the system and even cleaned the registry and it works again!

God knows what happened and whether it will happen again, but for the time being it works.

Excellent. Thanks Bruce. I had tried a basic uninstall so initially fobbed off your suggestion, but something talked me into giving it another, ‘proper’ go.

Hi,

I tried removing Vegas and reinstalling and the problem remains.

I even tried removing the last couple of Windows updates, but it’s still not having it.
