I don’t know Peter, I swear I used motion key and used show mask then made a movie of that using QuickTime and the option RGB and Alpha. Then imported that back into project and mathched moved it with my turtle background. I’ll try that again to make sure that was the sequence but all I knw is that it worked and worked well!

    Adobe AE CS4
    Thanks
I’m not on my pc right now so I forget the exact name for the effect. but I did use the effect to remove moving objects
from the comp. To mask a moving object. If I save movie of this mask is ther a way I can render just the mask without any back ground? Does this make sense?

Good luck!, I tried that ump teen times as requested by Matt @ Boris to no aval. Maybe U should try just resetting defaults anyway just in cause some other program adjust the card to it’s own settings ??

I had the same exact problem. I was tweeking my nvidia graphic cards settings and got crash after crash when using ET. After resetting graphic card to factory defaults my problem vanished. Did U change values of your card?

Thanks for the response Joe, and no, not yet but I will Monday. I have found especially with pinnacle studio software that forums were alway a WAY better place to find and fix problems. Thanks again and I’ll keep everyone up to date on the outcome.
    Thank again

UPDATE – Still haven’t been able to start up Encore CS4 .
So I guess by the non-response that no one has had this issue. WOW!
I must have re-installed this a dozen times and just can’t get it stablized.
Well if anyone comes up with a solution PLEASE let me know.
