I don’t think Andrew actually visits this forum any more. He’s been so busy with projects and new products. He’s VERY active on his own web site, however… post a response to one of his blogs there.

I’m not into them (I’m an old country fart), but my son is a concert promoter and tells me they are from SF.
That said, I agree with you about the footage… Unless they contacted Andrew and got permission (which is a distinct possibility).
Also, if you do watch the whole thing, you’ll see the overall production quality of the video is pretty poor. A few places where the band is out of sync with the music and the shots were obviously rushed. It appears as if whomever edited the video was in a hurry and did an overall poor job anyway.

Trapcode Form was mentioned and I took a look at it briefly. I downloaded the demo, but haven’t actually tried it yet.
I also downloaded the demo for Panopticum Fire which I’ll be trying later today. I have the Panopticum Curtain product which isn’t bad, but they are notoriously bad with documentation and from a brief look through the Fire demo docs, that hasn’t changed. So it may take some time for me to figure out how to use it.
I would have thought this would be a much more popular topic and someone would have done a tutorial… I’m a tad surprised.

I’d like to offer a suggestion, if I may…
The ability to detach the stage as a seperate window. I run dual monitor, so moving the stage to my second monitor would help me work on HD projects.

To output with an alpha channel, don’t you still have to export individual frames rather than a QT or AVI with alpha support?
It’s been a couple months since I needed to use it, so I don’t remember.
