  • No the problem seems to be with the file resolution that is actually uploaded as it is 720p before it even gets to PP

  • I don’t think the issue is in Premiere Pro; the problem starts at the import. Once uploaded, it states in the file properties that it is 1280×720, so you would expect it to be that size in PP as that is actually what is being imported. I just don’t understand why when I have 1920×1080 selected in the camera that the image is 720p when uploaded from the card. Would card speed affect the resolution size? It’s only 30MB/sec which I know isn’t ideal.

  • Hi,

    I am in Australia.
I have the camera set to 1920×1080, but when I upload the footage to (any) computer it is at 1280×720. This can be confirmed by importing to an application like After Effects where you can clearly see the size difference as well as the file info that can be seen from the hard drive. I’ve tried 25fps but it still does the same.

Thanks for the heads up on 24 vs 25fps tho
