I used the JVC HD100 to shoot the wedding. In the menu of the camera i chose the video format as followed:
Frame rate: 60/30
Rec: HDV-SD60P
Aspect: [16:9]
HDV PB Output: 720P

I thought I’d set the Rec: at HDV-HD30P but it turned out i didn’t. Now FCP won’t let me capture the footage. I can see the timecode field progressing but not the video, when i tried to capture the tapes.

I tried capturing via 8bit composite, and it works, but that’s the last case scenerio, i’d like to capture the higher quality footage. I appreciate your helping me.
